The small concrete mixer is refitted on the chassis of general truck, and the flywheel power take-off is reserved. The mixing device mostly uses the power take-off drive shaft to drive the hydraulic pump, and the mixing device provides power. The hydraulic system of mixing device generally adopts closed system. When the vehicle is started, if the power take-off and engine flywheel are in meshing state, the hydraulic pump will rotate with it. Under the condition of high viscosity of hydraulic oil, if the hydraulic pump is in the working state of load, it will be difficult to absorb oil, and even "empty" phenomenon will occur. The hydraulic pump will cause excessive wear due to poor lubrication. At the same time, the hydraulic motor and turret reducer will also run passively under the condition of poor lubrication, resulting in serious wear. This is the fundamental reason why the mixing device must be preheated.
The output torque and power of the hydraulic system of the small concrete mixer truck are related to the load. The larger the displacement of the hydraulic pump is, the greater the total mass of the concrete tank is, and the greater the resistance is. If the operating handle of mixing drum is not set at neutral position, the starting resistance will be large, which will cause difficulty in starting the engine motor, consume more electric energy, and may cause premature damage of the starting motor.
When the engine is started under the static state of the tank body, the flywheel power take-off still drives the power take-off drive shaft and the hydraulic pump to rotate. The increased starting load is only the idle resistance of the power take-off drive shaft and hydraulic pump, which is significantly reduced compared with the resistance of the whole rotating tank transmission system, so the wear of the plunger body and plunger of the hydraulic pump can be reduced to a lower level. Moreover, because the hydraulic pump does not work, the hydraulic motor and the rotating tank reducer will not work, so there will be no wear. Therefore, starting the engine in the static state of the tank is a better way to reduce the starting load of the engine for all small concrete mixers. Starting the engine under the static state of the tank can make the whole rotating tank system reduce the wear, and gradually increase the temperature and viscosity of the hydraulic oil.
After the hydraulic pump idles for a period of time, the tank can be turned slowly to preheat the oil in the hydraulic motor and pipeline. At the same time, the turret reducer also began to self warm up. When the oil of the whole rotating tank system reaches the working temperature, the preheating work will be finished. It is specially pointed out that it is strictly forbidden to increase the engine speed too early and too fast during the preheating period of the mixing device. It should be operated at low speed for 10 min after starting, and then loaded for operation. The specific control of engine speed and preheating time should be based on the ambient temperature and the condition of small concrete mixer truck. Generally speaking, the lower the ambient temperature, the longer the no-load preheating time should be. At the same time, it should be noted that the preheating operation procedure must not violate the relevant provisions of the equipment operation manual.
